The best part of being a member of the SADS is socializing with other "Decophiles" who share the same interests and sharing in the joy of supporting the preservation of an important part of history. Enjoying and recreating the ambience of the Art Deco life-style is what makes SADS event!

GALA 2009 - 2010
HOLIDAY GALA The annual SADS Holiday Gala is the climax of our year's activities. Each December we capture the ambiance of the deco era, partake of fanciful food and drink and enjoy entertainment of period music. This is also the opportunity to bid on fabulous treasures at the silent auction!

EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS
Our presentation meetings are held every other month and include a wide range of topics: architecture, movies, interior design, fashion, jewelry, music, art, vintage autos and more!
Currently we are meeting at the Towe Auto Museum who also does presentations on the alternate months.

OUT AND ABOUT

During the year SADS hosts several events and outings such as tours to the deco Oakland Theater, a "Parisian Affair", our 15th Anniversary Celebration at the Ryde Hotel and participation in the annual Jazz Jubilee Parade.
